The Arkon SR053 Windshield Pedestal XM/Sirius Satellite Radio Receiver Holder is approximately 14-inches long and designed for use with vehicles that have deep dashboards. The suction on this pedestal is extremely strong and has a suggested weight capacity of up to 20 pounds. This pedestal installs without tools and can be easily transferred from vehicle to vehicle.

Arkon TT112 – GPS receiver mounting kit for car CustomerReview

I bought this mount to compliment the other mount I had bought so I could keep this in our coach. See my review on this mount’s sister, the exact same review holds true for the design change of this mount as well. ARKON TTGO115 TomTom GO x20 Mini Windshield Mount

-1 star for a very disappointing design change. The last joint on the back of the head for the mount (just behind where the TomTom mounts to it) as shown in the picture should have been a left-right only moving joint with a top screw. The mid-joint was your up/down (still is).

They changed the head joint to a ball-in-socket type joint with a compression ring. These types are notorious for wearing out, and never being able to get quite tight enough to never move on their own, this made me sad! With trying to tighten it as tight as I can get it, if you bump it, the TomTom is heavy enough to make it move. =( It’s ok for now as long as I’m not mashing buttons rough and don’t bump it, but I see this taking what was a great mount by design, and shortening it’s longevity greatly.
